Dr. Rizwan Khan is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and Board-Certified Pain Management Specialist. He earned his doctorate from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas at Houston, part of the renowned Texas Medical Center. He then pursued a fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Miami.

Dr. Khan returned to the Houston area after leading a thriving practice in Waco, where he was recognized as a “Top Doc” in Pain Management. Prior to his time in Waco, Houstonia Magazine had also named him a “Top Doc” in Anesthesiology and Pain Management during his previous tenure in Houston. With extensive training in various treatment modalities, Dr. Khan takes a patient-centered approach, carefully evaluating each case to recommend the most effective treatment plan.

His passion for pain management and anesthesiology began shortly after high school while serving in the U.S. military. Helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life is what drives his dedication to the field.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Khan enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
