David Salinas, MPAS, PA-C, is the Lead Orthopedic Physician Assistant at Texas Regional Physicians with more than 23 years of experience in orthopedic medicine and surgery. He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in 2003 and has dedicated his career to providing exceptional musculoskeletal care across a wide range of orthopedic specialties.

Throughout his career, David has developed extensive experience in general orthopedics, sports medicine, hand surgery, spine, foot and ankle, and pediatric orthopedics. His diverse clinical and surgical background enables him to evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions while delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care.

David is passionate about helping patients restore mobility, improve function, and return to the activities they enjoy. He has extensive experience in both the clinical and surgical settings and particularly enjoys serving as a first assistant in the operating room, where he works closely with orthopedic surgeons to provide the highest level of patient care.  By taking the time to understand each patient’s goals and developing individualized treatment plans, David strives to improve pain, restore function, and enhance overall quality of life.
